I – Who we are

This "web site" (www.euen.org), hereinafter referred to as EUEN, is owned by Media Invest Lda, a company based in Lisbon, registered in Portugal with Tax Number PT514274093.

Media Invest manages the website and all its contents, unless expressly stated otherwise.

II – Personal Data

Personal data means any information that can be used to identify a person, and which includes, without limitation, the name, email address, mailing address, any other address or other information necessary to provide a service or to perform a requested transaction. Personal data is also considered to be information collected electronically that allows, directly or indirectly, to identify a name, an identification number or location data, among other electronic identification processes. Personal data is also considered to be information referring to one or more specific elements of the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that individual.

In the case of EUEN we only collect two types of data: those that are collected electronically and those that are requested to provide a service or transaction.

On EUEN personal data can be collected through the following means:

  • Individual processes of contributors;

The requested data is related to the name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, any other address or information intended to support the pursuit of the following purposes:

IV – Data collected by electronic processes

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the MyBusiness site, the data in the comments form, as well as the IP address and browser user agent, are saved to help with spam detection.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. The Gravatar service's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile photo is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Multimedia

Images submitted for publication on the website may contain embedded geolocation data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract geolocation data from the site's images.

Contact Forms

When the contact form is used, we ask for the Name and Email, to respond to the user. You may also be asked for a Telephone Number to speed up this response. Your indication is optional.

The data collected is processed and stored in strict compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data, and this information will only be kept for the period necessary to support the user and will not be used for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you don't have to re-enter your details when leaving another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and will be deleted when you close your browser.

EUEN articles may include embedded content (eg, videos, images, articles, etc.). Please note that the embedded contents of other websites behave as if the user were visiting those websites.

Through embedded content on MyBusiness, another site may collect data about you, use cookies, incorporate third-party tracking, monitor your interactions with it, including logging interactions with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in. started on that site.

Analytical Data

EUEN does not collect any analytical data. However, many web hosting accounts do collect some anonymous analytics.

V – Who is your data shared with

The data collected and maintained by MyBusiness will not be provided or shared with other entities, except for compliance with legal obligations (Judicial or administrative authorities).

VI - How long are your data retained

If you leave a comment, the comment as well as its metadata are saved indefinitely. This is so that you can automatically recognize and approve any comments that follow, rather than putting them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our site, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All registered users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of not being able to change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

The data collected through the form is deleted every six months. However, the data referring to the sending of newsletters or the dissemination of activities and partnerships will be kept until its deletion is requested.

VII – What rights do you have to your data

If you have a MyBusiness account, or have left comments, you can request to receive an export file with the personal data stored about you, including any personal data you have provided. You can also request that the saved data be deleted. This does not include any personal data that you are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Under the terms of the RGPD (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the European Council) we also grant you the right to object to the use of the data provided for communication and dissemination purposes. VIII – Where your data is sent

EUEN's web hosting is within the European Union, thus safeguarding the data protection standards in force in Europe. Visitors' comments can be checked through an automatic spam detection service.

IX – How your data is protected

The data provided to EUEN are treated in accordance with the RGPD, being treated lawfully, loyally and transparently. They are collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and will not be further processed in a way that is incompatible with those purposes.  The information requested is adequate, pertinent and limited to the purposes for which it is treated.

Kept in such a way as to allow the identification of their holders only for the period strictly necessary for the pursuance of the purposes that justified their collection and/or their treatment, they will then be erased in a way that guarantees their safety, including protection against its unauthorized treatment.

X – Privacy Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be changed periodically, without the need for the prior and express consent of the data subject. Any significant changes will be communicated with the degree of publicity corresponding to its relevance, through an online publication.
